All Goku Forms in Dragon Ball series

Goku is a fictional character in the manga/manga/anime series Dragon Ball. Throughout the story, Goku goes through various states to fight enemies and protect the world. Here are all Goku forms that have appeared in the series.

Normal State

This is Goku's default state, no special powers.

Oozaru - Great Ape


At the time of the full moon, a Saiyan like Goku looking at the moon will instantly transform into a giant gorilla. The status will give a Saiyan like Goku a huge amount of physical strength.

The biggest weakness of this state is that the user is no longer rational but acts instinctively, possibly endangering his team instead of the opponent. Saiyans will get out of this state through two ways: one is to wait for the full moon to pass and the other is to cut off the tail.

Super Saiyan


In this state, Goku's hair turns yellow and is covered with a layer of yellow energy.

Super Saiyan 2


This is an upgraded version of Super Saiyan status. In terms of appearance, this state does not change much compared to the Super Saiyan state, but it gives twice the strength and speed of the Super Saiyan state.

Super Saiyan 3


For Super Saiyan 3, Goku has a pretty big change in appearance when he has long blond hair to his butt and extremely strong muscles, showing overwhelming strength and physicality.

While in this state, Goku can increase his strength and speed by three times compared to his Super Saiyan state, but at the same time will lose energy faster.

Golden Oozaru


This is Goku's new transformation form appearing in Dragon Ball GT. This state appears when Goku tries to transform into a Super Saiyan while transforming into a gorilla. Becoming Oozaru caused Goku to increase his strength far beyond normal.

Super Saiyan 4


This is Goku's stronger state and only appears in the Dragon Ball GT series. While in this state, Goku has black hair and red skin, increased strength and speed, and has the ability to use many new techniques.

Super Saiyan God


This is Goku's new form appearing in Dragon Ball Super. To appear in this state, Goku must have 5 other Saiyans infused with the power to transform. Super Saiyan God will make Goku's hair and eyes turn red.

Super Saiyan Blue


In this state, Goku's hair and eyes are blue. This is a hybrid form between the regular Super Saiyan and the Super Saiyan God. While in this state, Goku can simultaneously use the energy of the God of Destruction and the God of Protection to increase his strength.

Ultra Instinct Sign


When in the state of Ultra Instinct, Goku will have black hair, platinum eyes, and platinum energy surrounding him. While in this state, Goku not only increases his strength and speed many times, but also has the ability to fight without thinking and automatically reacts to his opponent's every move.

Perfect Ultra Instinct


This is an upgraded version of Ultra Instinct, it is also the strongest form of Goku to date. With Perfect Ultra Instinct, not only Goku's eyes but also his hair turns platinum.
